General Facts 

Community Hospital of Los Gatos, located at 815 Pollard Road in Los Gatos is a 143-bed acute care hospital. The hospital, part of Tenet California, opened in 1962 and has become an integral part of the Los Gatos community providing general and specialty medical services with more than 500 employees and a medical staff of over 550 physicians and allied health professionals. 

Community Hospital of Los Gatos strives to meet the increasing needs of our community by focusing services in the areas of Orthopedic Surgical Services (Recently designated a Premium Specialty Center for Total Joint Replacement by UnitedHealth and given a Five-Star Rating in Hip Replacement and Hip Fracture Repair by HealthGrades) Women’s Health Services (which includes The Family Birth Place and Growing Expectations Program), Rehabilitation Center Services, the Silicon Valley Urology Center, the Physical Performance Institute, and specialty programs including Diabetes Management and Movement Disorders Program.  The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the nation’s oldest and largest hospital accreditation agency.
